In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
TADGELL, Edward - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather after a short stay in St. Peter's Hospital. Ted passed away peacefully in his 98th year of natural causes. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Grace, and his sister Audrey. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years Jean and their children Lynn (Blair), Mark (Linda), Scott (Brenda), Lori (Curtis) and John (Roberta). Grandfather to Jesse, Colin, Anne, Eric, Pamela, Matthew, Kathryn, Jet, Nina and Matt. Great Grandfather to Andrew, Owen, Paige, Caroline and Margaret. Ted served with the Royal Canadian Navy during the last year of WWII. He later opened his own printing company - Superior Craftsman which he owned for over 45 years. He loved the outdoors and spent many happy years with his family at his cottage in Muskoka. He also loved to travel with Jean, and they were fortunate to have visited many countries over the years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. As per his request, a private ceremony will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Bay Gardens Funeral Home, Burlington.
