In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
MUISE, Eric Andrew - 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022 at K.E. Spencer Memorial Home in Moncton, surrounded by loved ones. Born in South Branch, NFLD, he was the son of the late Dennis and the late Beatrice (Aucoin) Muise.
Eric was the eldest of sixteen. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ida; his four daughters: Ellen (Terry) Buist of Ontario, Karen (late Sandy) MacRae, Shirley Rae (Teresa), Mary Lou Findlay all three of Moncton; five brothers: Norman, Marshall, Wade, Eddie, David; four sisters: Margaret Rose, Augusta, Patsy, Marion; seven grandchildren:, John-Andrew, Natalie, Alana, Amanda, Lisa Billy (Mandy), Keifer (May); he has several great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his two sons: Kevin and Darrel; his daughter, Christine; five brothers: Jimmy, Jerome (Betty), Kenneth (Lil), Junior, Wayne; and his sister, Ella.
Eric was a jack of all trades and loved to work. He was a dedicated veteran, and served a total of 35 years with the Royal Canadian Navy (21 years regular service and 14 years reserve). He worked for KC Irving Canaport in St John, NB for 18 years. He also had a great passion for moose hunting.
His heart always has and always will belong to NFLD.
The family would like to thank the staff at Spencer Memorial Home for the exceptional care given during his time there.
As per Eric's wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
