In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
HAMILTON John Renner - Renner leaves to mourn his daughter Holly and sons Stuart & Kelly (Colleen), grandchildren Travis, Nadine, Marje & Amanda as well as 4 great grandchildren, Shay-Lee, Samuel, Jacob, & Isabella, sisters Madge Macleod and Joy Sharpe, special friends Cyndi & Ken, many cousins, nieces, nephews and their families as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Fred & Nell, wife Phyllis, son Fred, brothers Webster & Ross & sister Audrey Weir, brothers-in-law Cec Weir, Bill Macleod, & Ray Sharpe and sister-in-law Dolly Hamilton.
Renner was born & raised on a farm in Ochre River, Manitoba. He was proud of the 3 years he served in the Navy during World War II patrolling the North Atlantic aboard the HMCS PENETANG. He moved to Campbell River after he was discharged in 1946. Renner worked at Western Mines and various mines in the U.S., finally retiring in 1986.

The family would like to thank all the home care people that looked after Renner and in particular the very loving staff at Evergreen Seniors home. There will be a celebration of life held at the Legion in Campbell River on Wednesday September 25, 2019 from 1pm to 4 pm. (The Campbell River Mirror 08 Sep 2019)
