DOYLE, Louis Anthony - Suddenly at his residence on Monday, April 9, 2012 of Mr. Louis Anthony Doyle of Charlottetown, veteran of the Second World War, age 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Florence (nee Perry) Doyle and dear father of Judy Larkin of Toronto, Ont., Mary Kuhn (Bill Williams) of Charlottetown, Pat (Cathy) of Charlottetown, Joyce (Kent) MacDonald of Stratford, Ethel Farrow of Charlottetown and Tony (Stephanie MacLeod) of Charlottetown. He is also lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; his brothers, Melvin (Shirley) Doyle, Barry (Lorraine) Doyle, Vernon Doyle; and his sister, Phyllis McCabe. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Anna; great-granddaughter, Emily Margaret; brother, Ernie; sisters, Eileen, Connie, Vera and Noreen. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Friday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan's Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Charlottetown Branch #1 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Veteran's Tribute Service at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:45 p.m. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I., or the Alzheimer Society of P.E.I.
