In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
PALA, Eden Anthony - Age 88, of Lower Sackville, passed away on October 25, 2022, in Sagewood Continuing Care. Born in New Waterford, he was a son of the late Antonio and Maria (Corbezzolo) Pala. Eden served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 35 years. He retired as a Lieutenant Commander in Halifax. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter and he loved playing his guitar. He never had a shortage of hobbies. Eden is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Faulkner; daughter, Ann Marie Pala (Gary Arca); sons, Mark (Gina) Pala, and Richard Pala (Francine Mooney); 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Lucy, Julia, Salvatore, Joseph and Eduard. No visitation or service by request. Thanks to all of the staff at Sagewood for their excellent care. Special thanks to Dorothy MacDonald for being a wonderful friend. Rest in Peace Dad. You’ll be missed. (The Saltwire Network 29 Oct 2022)
