SCHNARE, Kenneth Ross - 66, Lighthouse Road, Digby, died Monday in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. Born in Queensland, he was a son of the late Isaiah and Laura (Rafuse) Snair. He retired from Maritime Tel. and Tel., where he worked for 20 years. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He served with the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion, branch No. 20 and St. Paul's Anglican Church, Marshalltown. He is survived by his wife, the former Irene Marshall; a son, Peter, Hillgrove; a daughter, Henrietta (Mrs. Ross Munro), Bedford; a brother, Burnald, Halifax; two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Moss, Halifax; Mrs. Marguerite Bond, Chester; a half-sister, Mrs. Marguerite Keddy, Toronto; five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Edward; two sisters, Irene, Edna. The body is in Jayne's Funeral Home, Digby, where funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Gordon Estabrooks officiating.
