In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
MILNE, James Gallwey - passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 19, 2005 at the age of 84. "Jim" was predeceased by his wife Dolly in 1994 and brother Don in 1970. He is lovingly remembered by his son Garry (Laurina); daughters, Joyce (Al) Jager, Donna (Dave) O'Bray, Lynne (Greg) Boehlke; sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; brother Harvey; and many extended family. Born in Qu'Appelle, Sask., October 9, 1920, Jim lived in Calgary since 1933. A veteran with the RCNVR, machinist by trade, married in 1945, he was a devoted, patient, kind, husband and father - a "true gentleman." Funeral Services will be held at Fosters' Garden Chapel, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (Telephone 297-0888) (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. (The Calgary Herald 22 Aug 2005)
