GIDDINGS, Oliver Angus Warren - Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Wednesday, August 24, 2005, Oliver Angus Warren Giddings of Murray River, age 82 years. Veteran of the Second World War. Husband of the late Leona (MacKay) Giddings. Beloved father of Roger Giddings (Cathy), Charlottetown, Georgie Curley (Philip), Alliston, Andy Giddings (Amy), Murray River and Debbie Walker (Clifton), Murray River. Dear grandfather of Craig (Cheryl), Kent, Ben, Christina and Ty. Great grandfather of Emma. Brother of Annie Williams, Jeannette Giddings, Joe Giddings and Melvin Giddings. Also survived by sisters and brother-in-law Jessie Dennison (Robert), Catherine Irving (Basil), Donalda Courtney (Evan), Wayne MacKay (Lynn) and Maisie MacKay. Predeceased by infant daughter Valrie and infant son George, brothers and sisters Ella Williams, Sam Giddings, John Giddings, Hazel Hodgeson, Norma Giddings and Rita Giddings, brothers-in-law Angus MacKay and Sterling MacKay.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday at 2:00 pm. Interment in the Murray River Cemetery. Visitation : Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. If so desired, memorials to Kings County Memorial Hospital or to Heart & Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. would be appreciated. (Ferguson Funeral Home Ltd)
