MESSENGER, Bruce Cleveland - 79, Wileville, Lunenburg Co., died May 16, 2005, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Clarks Harbour, he was a son of the late Smith and Louise (Nickerson) Messenger. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; daughter, Valerie, at home; sons, Michael, at home; Stephen, Indianna; brothers, Donald (Norma), Gerald (Virginia), all of Clarks Harbour; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Lawrence, Bernard, and Carl; sisters, Olive and Valerie. Private family funeral service and burial at a later date, Rev. Eric Campbell officiating. No visitation at the funeral home. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville.
