In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
WESTHAVER, Victor Wilson - 67, Fox Point, Lunenburg County, died Saturday in the Victoria General Hospital. Born in Fox Point, he was a son of the late Noble and Prudence (Miller) Westhaver. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a veteran of the Second World War. He was a member of F. E. Butler Branch 44, Royal Canadian Legion., Chester. He is survived by his wife, the former Rita LeBlanc; a son, Walter, Fox Point; two daughters, Cathy (Mrs. Bernard Manuel), Simms Settlement; Darlene (Mrs. Kevin Hasler), Middle River; a brother, Earl, Mill Lake; five sisters, Glyde (Mrs. Borden Smith), Lunenburg; Aileen (Mrs. Clyde Nicho; son), Simms Settlement; Beulah (Mrs. Paul Clinton), Chester Basin; Phyllis (Mrs. Aubrey Oickle), Blockhouse; Florence (Mrs. Lester Andrews), Fox Point; two grandsons. He was predeceased by four brothers, Guy, Judson, John and Walter; two sisters, Gladys and Dora. The body is in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards, where prayer service will be held 9 p.m. today. Cremation will follow. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Fox Point, at a later date.
