In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
PORTER, Laurence James (Jim) - Passed away peacefully in his 97th year at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 with family at this side. He was the beloved husband of Elsie Porter (1998) and Isabelle MacKenzie (2014). Loving father-figure of Bonnie Murray of Fenelon Falls, Betty Goulding (David) of Lindsay and Jack MacKenzie (Michelle) of Georgia. Sadly missed by dear brother-in-law of Joseph Schwarz (Elizabeth) of Cambridge and much loved uncle of Eric Schwarz (Gillian) and Michael Schwarz as well as his long-time friend Robert McMullen and his wife Marylou. Jim will be sadly missed by all who knew him and loved him. If desired memorial donations to honour Jim to the Arthritis Society of Canada or to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #238 Fenelon Falls.
