MILLER, Robert A. (Bob) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Miller on January 24, 2006 at the age of 87 years. Bob passed away peacefully in his sleep at Glenwarren Lodge. Bob will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Lynn, daughter Joyce Miller (Phil Shewchuck), of Edmonton, daughter Gail (Wayne) Overland of California, son Rob (Sharon) of Victoria, granddaughter Dr. Allison Miller of Ottawa, grandson Duncan Miller of Victoria, brother Doug (Joan) of Edmonton, sister Thelma Wells of Vancouver and his numerous nieces, nephews and their children. Bob was predeceased by his sisters Evelyn and Mildred, and brother Jack. Bob was born and raised in Edmonton and spent most of his working life there. He was a photographer in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII and was a veteran of the Battle of the Atlantic. Bob and Lynn retired to Victoria in 1982. Many thanks to all the caring staff at Glenwarren. At Bob's request there will be no service.
