In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
LaPOINTE, Michael George (Mike) - Passed away suddenly at home at the age of 71. Loving dad of Greg, Doug (Sara), and David. Proud Grandpa to Kingston. Dear brother of Stan (Cathy), Roberta Waugh, and Dianne (late Ronald) Beech. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
Mike served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1967-1972. He began his apprenticeship and worked as a Pipefitter for Chrysler and Local 552 for many years until his retirement in 2016.
Special thanks to Robbie Anderson for looking out for our dad and for all his help and friendship over the years.
Visiting will take place at the James H Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg on Tuesday, June 21 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m.
