II Royal Canadian Navy Retired District Fire Chief Scarborough Fire Service 1924 – 2022 Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in Toronto, Ontario, at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late June Florence. Loving father of Stephen, Kathryn (Tom) and Gregory (Diane). Proud "Gumpy" to Stacey, Cindy, Jodi, Kristina, Kyla, Jamie and Matthew. "Great-Gumpy" to Dakota, Keelan, Anlyn, Harlow, Hudson, Addison and Auston. Visitation on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Rd. (just east of St. Clair Ave. E.). Memorial Service on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Oakridge Branch 73 or Scarborough Health Network Foundation, would be appreciated.
