GALE, Jane E. - Peacefully in her sleep after a brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents, Ken and Betty Gale (nee Boyce) and brother Tim Gale (Diane Ouimet). Survived by her nephew Colin Gale (Lesley Cox), Aunt Joan Whitehead (nee Boyce), Uncle Harry Whitehead, cousins Jeff Whitehead (Julie Lacroix), Bruce Whitehead (Mary Ann), Arran Rowles (Cal) and Ross Whitehead (Sylvie Lanctot).
Fondly remembered by special friends Elaine McCausland (Sue Fowler), Diane Bayley (Nich) and their families.
Jane served in the Royal Canadian Navy, first as a reserve force musician and logistics officer and then the regular force as an IT security officer. After retirement, she worked in IT security for the City of Ottawa and for RIM. She also worked for the Stratford Festival - one of her great loves, theatre. She performed in several musicals in Ottawa with Orpheus Musical Theatre Society, Ottawa Little Theatre and Suzart Productions. She also sang in choirs and played handbells with Woodroffe United Church, St. John's United Church and Avondale United Church.

Interment to be held at the National Military Cemetery in Ottawa at 1500 on 30 April 2022.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth would be greatly appreciated.
