David Todd Kreitz

Died: 26 May 2013

 

KREITZ, David (Todd) - Age 50, Halifax, passed away May 26, 2013. Born in North Battleford, Sask. He was a son of Robert and Roberta (Wittig) Kreitz. Todd served in the Royal Canadian Navy, for approximately 30 years, achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He served in both Halifax and Esquimalt, BC. He was currently pursuing a career as a computer systems technologist. Todd was an avid sports fan, in particular a supporter of the Halifax Mooseheads. He was a kind and gentle man who despite many challenges always remained positive. He is survived by his daughter, Cassidy, Halifax; parents, Robert and Roberta; brothers, Brad (Elisa); Darby (Traci); nephews, Jennor, Bobby, Tommy, Bronson; nieces, Erica, Elle, Julia, all of Prince George, BC; his ex-wife Trish Dominie. He was predeceased by son, Alex. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Cole Harbour Funeral Home & Crematorium, 1234 Cole Harbour Road, where a Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 1st. Youth Pastor Melissa Boyd officiating. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alex's Safe Harbour.
