GREGOIRE (nee GRAY), Mary Belle, WRCNS - It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our dear wife mother and grandmother. After courageously living with dementia for several years. Belle went peacefully on Easter Sunday. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 66 years Edward (Ted) daughter Coral (Dean) granddaughter's April, Bryanna (Luke) great granddaughters Madyson, Haylee. Son's Gary and Bruce.

 

A celebration of her life will be held Friday May 4 2012 at 10am in the First Memorial Boal Chapel1505 Lllooet Rd North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers donations to the Squamish Hospital Foundation (Hilltop House dental chair) would be greatly appreciated

 


 

GREGOIRE (nee GRAY), Mary Belle, WRCNS - was born 01 Jul 1919 in Portage la Prairie, MB. She enlisted in the WRCNS in Winnipeg in 1942. Following her basic training in Galt, ON, Mary was posted to Halifax and later to Esquimalt. She were in one of the 39 "non-combatant" occupations assigned to all WRENS. When WW2 ended, Mary received her discharge in Winnipeg in 1945. Mary and her husband Ted, who served in the Army during WW 2, moved to Squamish, BC n 04 Mar 1957. Mary passed away a few years ago.
