In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
PRILL, Buelah Ethel (nee MUIR) - With sadness the family of Buelah Ethel Prill announce that she passed away peacefully at the Chilliwack General Hospital on February 3, 2022. Mom was 87 years old, born in North Vancouver on June 12, 1933. Buelah is survived by brother John Muir (Kathy) and her sons Richard (Marivic), David (Karen), Michael (Cheryl) and Gordon (Kari); 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Mom was predeceased by her husband Arthur (Archie) in June of 2019. Mom and brother John grew up on the island in logging towns such as Port McNeil and Jordan River were her Dad worked. Mom attended high school in Vancouver. Her old school is still standing. Mom relocated to Victoria joining the Naval reserve and hanging out with her best friend Ruby. That is until Dad swept her off her feet. Aside from raising four boys, mom was an avid knitter and collector of local Native Art. She was also deeply involved with Girl Guides when she lived on the island. Buelah was also a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Langford. Buelah enjoyed camping with Archie, embarking on many camping excursions with family and friends. A memorial / celebration of life is to be held March 19, 2022 at 1pm in the St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8871 School Rd., Chilliwack. Buelah has been cremated.
