William's brother Gordon John Rowe died while serving in HMCS HAIDA on 06 Aug 1944. William was 25 years of age at the time of his brother's death.
William's brother Kenneth Sherard Rowe was serving as a Leading Stoker at HMCS STADACONA at the time of Gordon's death.
