ADAMS, Robert Norman (Bob) - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at The Village of Winston Park at the age of 96. Loving husband and soulmate of the late Una Mary for 67 years. Cherished father of Debi Metz (Adam) and Bryan (Marilyn). Grandfather of Amanda (Johnny), Charlene (Joe), Teresa (Nik), and Michelle (Rob). Great-grandfather of Kyle, Cohl, Victoria and Arlo. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Survived by sister-in-law Shirley Hawco and many nieces and nephews from Newfoundland. Predeceased by brothers Hank, William and Murray. Bob was a veteran of WW II serving with the Royal Canadian Navy. He was the owner operator of Adams Brothers Collision and Alignment. Bob was a Past President of the Holy Name Society (Maryhill), 4th Degree Knights of Columbus - Father Funken Council, and a past secretary of the Truckers Association of Kitchener. Robert's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 12 noon to 12:45 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 followed by a liturgy service in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 pm. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener. Please RSVP your attendance on the funeral home website. Double vaccination is required. The family would like to thank the The Village of Winston Park Retirement Home Caregivers caregivers, Mirella, Fernanda, Janet, Bella, Dawn Marie, Renee, Farishta, Gloria and all the other special people at Winston that took the time to show warmth and compassion on Dads journey. Expressions of sympathy donations to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation or Carmel of St. Joseph would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home). Remember him in your heart, your thoughts, your memories, of the times he loved, the times he fought, the times he cried, the times he laughed. For if you think of him, he will never be gone.
