Died: 26 Mar 2007, North Vancouver, British Columbia

 

DRUMMOND, Eileen Dorothy (née Cope) - Born June 30, 1920 in Wainwright, AB. Passed away peacefully March 26, 2007 in North Vancouver. Predeceased in 1995 by her husband Stan. Survived by her loving family; son Bob (Nicole), daughter Pat McCartney (Dan), grandchildren John, James, Spencer, and Shannon, sisters Muriel Olson, Phyllis Drummond, and Audrey Grisdale, brother Ken (Joan), many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mom grew up in Calgary, and served with the Wrens during World War II. She was a long-time resident of Richmond, and a member of the Sweet Adelines as well as the Vancouver Airport Greencoats. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Lynn Valley Care Centre staff for their wonderful care of our mom. Memorial service to be held on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 2:00 pm, Boal Chapel First Memorial, 1505 Lillooet Rd., North Vancouver. Reception to follow. Flowers gratefully declined.
