RENNIE, Frances Bateman - Born in Vancouver in 1921. Died peacefully at Berwick House in Victoria on December 10, 2002. Frances was a kind and generous woman. During WWII she served as an officer in Halifax with the WRENS. She subsequently established a successful travel agency in Vancouver. Remembered by her; brother, David (Florence) Hughes; sister, Sheila Traynor; nieces, Linda (Bruce) MacMillan, Cathy (Bob) Forst and Ann Blane; step-daughter, Libba (Laurie) Padgett and their children, Ashley, Lani, Lisa and Drew and their families. Survived by brothers-in-law, George (Barbara) and Bill (Gerry) Rennie, and sister-in-law, Gladys Zimmerman and their families. The family is thankful for the kind and respectful care Frances received at Berwick House. A service of remembrance will be held at the Royal Oak Garden Chapel, 4673 Falaise Dr. on Monday, December 16th, 2002 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
