In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
EDWARDS, Larry Ray - 75, of Wasaga Beach, Ontario, passed away on Saturday November 20, 2021 after a short illness.
Larry was born on October 9th, 1946, to Murray and Esther Edwards in Kenilworth, Ontario. Larry grew up in Wellington County. After a brief tour of duty in the Royal Canadian Navy, Larry began to work in the family barn painting business before marrying the love of his life, Janice, and starting a family. He was known as a man who worked extremely hard. Larry and Janice lived in Hanover, Ontario before moving to Wasaga Beach in 1980, where he worked for Arnott Construction for 40 years and was so proud of his time there. Larry loved being outside, working in his yard, and vacationing in Mexico, but he most enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and his loyal companion, Crosby. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh.
Larry is survived by his children, Bradley (Carolyn) and Ray (Leesa); two grandchildren, Holden and Raechel; brothers Glen (Angele) and Stanley and sister Donna (Rick); brother-in-law Tom Borton (Deb); sister-in-law Valerie; sister-in-law Christine (Mike); as well as many friends and family. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Janice; sister-in-law, Angele; and sister-in-law, Gwen.
There will be a private family ceremony at Larry's request. Interment will be at the Wasaga Beach Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carruthers Funeral Home in Wasaga Beach.
