In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
JEWERS, Charles Edward - Age 86, of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2021 in Melville Gardens. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Edward and May Jewers. Survived by children, Carmen Jewers-Davidson, Paul Jewers (Lynn) and Caroline Mago; grandchildren, Joshua Dolan, Emily Jewers, Hannah Jewers, Myiah Mago and Ajay Mago; son-in-law, Mike Linington. Predeceased by wife, Anne Jewers; daughter, Patti Linington; brothers, Earl Jewers and Russell Jewers; son-in-law, Robert Davidson. Charles was in the Navy and then worked as a business manager for Electrolux in his early years, then as a car salesman. He was an avid golfer, he spent winters in Florida and he loved spending time with his family. Special thanks to the staff of Melville Gardens for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 5th from 6-8 p.m., with Memorial Service on Saturday at 1 p.m, both in A L Mattatall Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, proof of vaccination, ID and masks are required for visitation and service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
