In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
MURDOCH, Thomas David - age 58, of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia passed away suddenly on September 28, 2021.
Born in East York, Toronto, Ontario, he was the son of Robert Murdoch.
He was a devoted and loving husband and father. He was a hard worker and was friendly and loved by everyone. Survived by wife Sandi, Dartmouth; daughter Myranda and son Justin; sister Carol (John) Schmold, Saskatchewan; sister-in-law Carla (Paul) MacKinnon Clark, Cole Harbour, sister-in-law Lesia (Rickey) King, Conrod Settlement; father in law Carl Stevens.
Tom served with the Canadian Forces for 25 years and retired in July 2008. While serving, he and Sandi spent 4 years stationed in Germany at CFB Lahr. They returned to Nova Scotia in 1994 where he was posted to the Naval Dockyard and sailed on 8 different frigates. He was stationed to CFB Shilo and they moved to Manitoba in 2003, returned to Nova Scotia in August 2008, where they have since remained. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, No. 95, Cornwallis Branch and a Senior Warden of the Cornwallis Masonic Lodge. He was involved in his local NSGEU and was also involved in ARMA organization and a volunteer for the Maritime Race.
He enjoyed spending time with Sandi, Myranda and Justin, travelling abroad. He also enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, collecting stamps, hockey, fishing and watching NCIS with his girl.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Anglican Church of Saint Andrew in Cole Harbour.

There will be a celebration of life Tuesday October 12th 2pm to 6pm at the Army Navy Air Force unit 137 Main Street, Dartmouth.
