In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
SMITH, Grant Thomas - With broken hearts we share the passing of Grant Smith on September 3, 2021, five days short of his 80th birthday. In his younger years Grant was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy. After leaving the Navy he settled in Ontario where he spent many years traveling Canada and the USA as a tour bus operator. Grant was the last remaining sibling of six. He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Eagles (Eric), Halifax; and Donna Musselman (Stephen) of Milton, Ont.; granddaughter, Kathy Grouse (Ricky), Halifax; granddaughter, Ashley (Mark) and grandson, Cody; as well as four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews who he always held close to his heart. He was predeceased by his first wife, Kathleen "Kay" and second wife, Mary. Cremation has taken place.
