GOULD, Marjorie Vicky (née SCOTT) - 100 years, of Spencers Memorial Home, formerly of Peoples Park Tower and Cedar Street, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021.

 

She was the daughter of the late Adeline (nee: Hicks) and late George Scott.

 

She was predeceased by her husband James Fenwick Gould. She is survived by one son Douglas (Heather) Gould; her daughter Donna (Bob) Jardine; her four grandchildren: Lisa, Leeann (Darren), Alister (Franceis), Megan (Liam); her four great-grandchildren: Tyler, Liam, Grace and Calvin.

 

Vicky grew up on a farm on the Northumberland Strait shoreline. During WW2 she served in the Women's Royal Naval Service becoming a Registered Nursing Assistant. Residing in Moncton most of her life, when her husband became ill, she became a resident of People's Park Tower. She participated in numerous activities there, including knitting hundreds of hats for newborn babies at the Moncton hospital. She took delight in her grandchildren and often spent time with her daughter's family and summers with her son's family in Ontario. Vicky loved dogs, cats and small children.

 

In accordance to her wishes, there will be no visitation and a private service will be held.
