Dave was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and joined the Canadian Navy in 1941. In 1969, Dave settled in Victoria, BC with his wife Olive of 63 years to raise their family, he was predeceased by Mom in 2012. While raising our family and following his navy service, he contributed 15 years to the Scotia Bank before retiring. Some of his many interests were his family, sharing stories, HO trains, reading history books and putting together model ships. Dave is survived by his children, Christine, Sheridan, Marian, Deryck & David and he also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a very heartfelt appreciation for the care our Dad received from the staff at the The Summit (Heron House) in Quadra Village where Dad spent his last days.
