HYSLOP, Donald Neil (Don) - A resident of Green Valley since October 1984 and formerly of Tucson for 16 years, passed away September 9, 2005 at the age of 83. Born in Edmonton, Alberta on January 12, 1922, he started his career in banking in 1939. He joined the Canadian Navy and after a three and a half year stint as a radar operator on North Atlantic convoy duty he was discharged and resumed his banking career which covered a span of over 40 years. In 1962 the family moved to Los Angeles where he was employed by Crocker-Citizens Bank. In 1963 he took a position with Southern Arizona Bank, and through merger, with First National Bank of Arizona which became First Interstate. He retired in 1987. Don is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ethel; sons, David of Edmonton and Ken of Tucson; daughter, Karen of La Veta, Colorado; brothers, Murray of Surrey, British Colombia and Richard (Grace) of Edmonton and three grandchildren.
