TERFRY, Edward Trask - Captain Edward T. Terfry, 88, of Parrsboro and Pictou, died Friday in Port Colborne, Ont. Born in Hantsport, he was a son of the late Captain Charles and Flora (Dulton) Terfry (?? poss Dolton) During the First World War he was with the Royal Canadian Navy in charge of convoy escorts between Canada and Great Britain, and from 1925 to 1939 he was captain of a motor vessel Kipawo operating a ferry service between Kingsport and Parrsboro. During the Second World War he installed radar systems in military airports in eastern Canada. He was with the North Cumberland Ferry Service and Ferguson Industries Ltd., Pictou for over 25 years.
