GAUDET, William Raymond (Bill) - Peacefully with his family by his side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, March 13, 2021 of William Raymond "Bill" Gaudet of Charlottetown and formerly of Clyde River in his 90th year. He was a Korean War Veteran. He was a CPO1 then took his Commission and retired as a LCdr. Beloved husband of 65 years to Leola Gaudet (nee Pellerin). Dear father of Susan Casey (Mark), Beverly Gaudet (Jeffrey Nelson), Nancy Wood (James), Nadine Jamieson (David Rose) and Jennifer MacArthur (Ted). Loving and proud Pappy of Kevin, Kyle, Matthew, Helena, Kaitlin, Jessica, David, Ariane and great grandfather of Ella, Clarke, Freya, Cohen and Rowen. Bill is also lovingly remembered by his sister Phyllis MacDonald (Howard deceased) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Cornelius and Florence (King) Gaudet, sister Connie Claire (Fred) and brother Jack. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. Due to current restrictions a funeral mass (by invitation only) will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church Cornwall. Interment later in St. Francis of Assisi St. Martin of Tours Cemetery, Cumberland. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
