JAMIESON, John Howard (Jack) - WWII Veteran (Royal Canadian Navy) Peacefully, at Princess Gardens, on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of Bettie McElroy. Loving father of Judy Jamieson (Bob Moher), Penny Tucker (Greg), Lori Arthurs (Ken) and the late Jack Jamieson (Laurie). Proud grandfather of Denver (Jessica), Colt (Michelle), Kelly (Alex), Ryan, Megan, Chris, and Heather; and great grandfather of Avery, Olive, Paisley, Shay and Quinn. Dear brother of Shirley Sharmon, Sheila McKenzie, and Carl Jamieson. Predeceased by his parents Eva and Howard Jamieson, and his siblings Lorraine Grant, Reg, and Raymond Jamieson. Jack was an active man, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, a president with the Learning and Leisure Association; and was a former member of the St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church Board. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, who kept him young. Due to the pandemic restrictions a private service will be held. Friends are invited to view a livestream of the service on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. through the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre webpage. Interment at Little Lake Cemetery.
