In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
HUTTON, Dennis Robert - passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday morning February 25th at Cedarview Care facility in North Vancouver. He was 76. Dennis was a Veteran serving in the Navy as a Radio Operator and enjoyed a long career as a highly respected consultant in the Transportation Industry. He was a fiercely loyal friend, a loving soul and a teddy bear of a man. Dennis loved to tinker, was a ruthless cribbage player and had a weakness for anything sweet. His favorite times were spent fishing out on the lake with his dearly departed brother in law Richard. He could crack a joke with the best of them. You would often find his family rolling their eyes and saying, "Good one Dad." Dennis leaves his loving wife of 55 years, Maureen, daughters Denise and Colleen (Bernie) along with three grandchildren Kaleigh, Jordan, and Max. There will be no service due to the pandemic. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Parkinson's society in Dennis's name. (Vancouver Sun / The Province 26 Feb 2021)
