In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
LAWRENCE, S. Roy - On May 5, 2013, S. Roy Lawrence, passed away peacefully. He is survived by his son Gordon, grandchildren, Kim and husband AJ, Jill and husband Kevin, Courtney and great grandchildren, Graeme, Cassidy, Allison, Callie and Rhys. He has gone to join his beloved wife Margaret, (Snow). He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him, but particularly the gang in the back stretch at Hastings Park Racing, where he was a fixture for years. He was particularly proud of his active service in the RCN and the RCNR over the years. And even after all these years in BC, he still couldn't cheer for the Canucks. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on May 28, 2013, at the Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam. (Vancouver Sun / the Province 24 May 2013)
