In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
SMART, Robert Keith - 79, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully at home on October 11, 2006. Born in Kingston, Ont., he was the son of the late James and Hazel (Esford) Smart. His greatest achievement was his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, F. Madeleine (Parker) Smart; daughters, Nancy Sims (Don), Ottawa; Linda, Irene MacMillan (Robert), Donna, Brenda, all of Dartmouth; sons, Robert (Debbie), Regina, Sask.; Donald (Lina) Stoney Creek, Ont.; Brian (Cathy), Dartmouth; David (Helene), Toronto; 19 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, October 13, in Woodlawn United Church, Rev. Sarah Reaburn officiating. Burial at a later date in Fairview Lawn Cemetery. Family flowers only.
