In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
HANNA, Burt H. - In his 100th year Burt has joined his beloved wife Mary. A great husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather has left behind daughters Wendy (Neil), Deby (Jack) and son Jeff (Angela); grandchildren Jason, Alison, Cory and Chris; step-grandchildren David, Lindsay, Iain, Alexander and Conner; great-grandchildren Dylan, Addyson, Claire, Kathryn, and Liam. Burt served his country proudly in the Canadian Navy during WWII on the frigate, Thetford Mines, and remained devoted to its members and anything affiliated with the navy for the rest of his life. The majority of Burt's career was spent as a machinist at OPG where he developed skills and friendships that would last well into retirement. Cremation has taken place and private burial will be held at a later date. If anyone so desires, contributions may be made to the #479 Legion at 5603 Spring St., Niagara Falls, L2G 1P7.
