JONES, Courtney Fallis - 84, of Halifax, died Saturday, Nov. 14 in Camp Hill Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late John and Lavinia Jones. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy in the Second World War, retiring with the rank of lieutenant-commander. He was a member of the Masonic Order, Scottish Rite and Shriners. He is survived by two daughters; a sister, Lorraine (Mrs. Cecil Henderson), River John; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Amy Smith; a son, four brothers and an infant daughter. Funeral was held Tuesday, Nov. 17 in Edgewood United Church, Halifax.
