He had one of the area's first personal computers in 1977. He Scuba dived, dabbled in oil painting, photography, astronomy, gardening, genealogy and got his private pilot's license at the age of 68. Cremation has taken place and in keeping with Lyn's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will follow at a later date for the immediate family in the family plot at Chester Cemetery. The family would like to thank Lyn's family physician Dr. David Barnett and all of the doctors and staff at Dartmouth General Hospital, 4 East for their patience and caring. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Lyn to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or the charity of their choice.
