Archibald Frederick Plummer

 

CH/J 91840, RN / 60808, RCN

 

Born: 27 Jun 1901, Newmarket, Suffolk, England

 

Died: 13 Sep 1976, Vancouver, British Columbia

 

PLUMMER, Archibald Frederick - served with the Royal Navy in WW I. Following the War, he stayed in Canada to instruct the Royal Canadian Navy in the use of wireless. Later, he joined the Alberta Provincial Police (APP) which was absorbed into the RCMP in 1932.  In 1968 he is listed as a Departmental Inspector, General Administration Officer, for the Department of the Attorney-General, BC.  Archibald Plummer died at the Shaughnessy Hospital in Vancouver on 13 Sep 1976. He was cremated and ashes buried at Ocean View Cemetery, Burnaby, BC.
