In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
WIZINOWICH, Peter Paul - age 92, born May 6, 1928 passed away October 11, 2020. He was the son of the late Mary and Frank Wizinowich. He is survived by wife Mildred (Webber) and son Peter Lindsay (Janice), grandson Wynton and daughter Wendy Eleanor (David) Jaggs. He is survived by sister-in-law Stella Wizinowich, Sylvia Webber and Verta Duggan and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Kay, Francis and Nellie; Brothers Joe, John and Ralph and twin sister Pauline and son Wayne Frank. Extended family includes Linda Rodgers, grandsons Corey Stevens and Kyle Cormier.
Peter served in the Army, Navy and transferred to the RCAF and retired in 1964. He then worked for Correctional Services (Ontario) before retirement in 1988.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour (Dartmouth, NS) and for many years a member of the Faith Lutheran Church (Brantford, Ontario).
No visitation by request of family. Cremation is being carried out by the Dartmouth Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any charity of your choice.
