In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
MUISE, Alexander (Sandy) - 90, of Cheticamp, passed away Oct. 30, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, Cheticamp. Born in Cheticamp, he was the son of the late Onezime and Elizabeth (Boudreau) Muise. He was a veteran of the Second World War. Sandy worked on dredge for several years. He was a fisherman for over 25 years.
Sandy is survived by three sons, James (Eleonor) Muise, Toronto, Paul Albert Muise and John (Sharon) Muise, both of Cheticamp; daughter, Mary (Roger) LeBlanc, Cheticamp; seven grandchildren, Tony LeBlanc, Robert LeBlanc, Kelly LeBlanc (Mike Loux), Ricky Muise, Penny Patterson, Cathy Muise and Tina Muise; nine great-grandchildren, Shaina LeBlanc, Nicholas LeBlanc, Brandon LeBlanc, Sydney Muise, Kayla Muise, Brandon Muise, Carter Muise, Tyler Muise and Ryiah Muise.
He was predeceased by his wife, Winnifred Burke; two sons, Charlie Muise and Donald Muise; four brothers, Arthur Muise, Paul Muise, Denis Muise and Joseph Muise one sister, Marie Rose Deveau.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Friday) at the Cheticamp Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
