James Sinclair Bazley

Died: 28 Dec 2006, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

 

BAZLEY, James Sinclair - 88, Dartmouth, passed away in Dartmouth General Hospital on December 28, 2006. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late James and Mary (Weaver) Bazley. James is survived by his wife, Connie (Smith); brother, Bruce (Jessie); nephew, Ian Bazley, all of Kelowna, B.C. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary (Martell) Bazley; sister, Geraldine Fanais. He was a member of the Atlantic Chiefs and Petty Officers Association. He retired after 25 years in the Royal Canadian Navy and 17 years with the Federal Civil Service. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, January 2, from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Anglican Church of the Holy Spirt (corner of Regency Drive and Gaston Road), Dartmouth, Rev. Edwin Ebsary officiating. Reception to follow. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of James can be made to the Goodfellows, Salvation Army or charity of choice. (Halifax Chronicle-Herald 30 Dec 2006)
