James Albert Saulnier

Died: 30 May 1978 age 20

 

SAULNIER, James Albert - 20, of White's Lake, Halifax county died Tuesday, May 30, 1978, in Victoria General Hospital. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Marjorie E. (Gilmore) Saulnier and the late Albert Saulnier. He was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces and was a crew member of HMC Huron. Surviving are his wife, the former Ann Hurshman; a daughter, Jamie Lee; two sisters, Cheryl (Mrs. John Winters), Spryfield; Patricia (Mrs. Allan Covey), Lower Sackville; two nephews, and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Gilmore, Fredericton. The body is at Cruikshanks Funeral Home, Robie Street. Funeral will be from Stadacona chapel Friday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. James died in a motorcycle accident.

 

Note: James' was buried in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  It was later renamed to Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
