SLADDEN, Albert James - It is in great sadness the Sladden and Oldfield families announce the passing of Albert in his 84th year on September 7, 2020, in the Halifax Infirmary. He was born on April 7, 1936 in Napanee, Ont., and moved to Halifax in 1954 and became a Petty Officer, Second Class. He retired in 1980. Loved by wife, Norma for 36 years; sons; daughters; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by son, Ronald Sladden. No service by request. Donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation.
