YOUNG, Chris Ronald - Passed away July 4, 2012 at 82. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Helen, daughter Wanda Young (Edwin Yee), son Chris (Stacey) Young, five grandchildren Jenna, Keith, Connor, Angela, Tara. Predeceased by parents William and Jean, brother Allen. Chris was born and raised on the family farm near Viscount, SK. He served twenty-five years in the Canadian Armed Forces including RCN service in the Korean War on the HMCS Iroquois. Chris also served eleven years as a civilian member of the RCMP. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. Interment to follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2850 Dry Valley Road, Kelowna.
