David James Warmington

WARMINGTON, David James - passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on July 24, 2020 at the age of 82. Beloved husband and best friend of Lorry (nee Marsh). Devoted and loving Father to Valerie Warmington, Lebanon, Sharon Clark (Russell) San Diego, Paula Peladeau, Ottawa, ON, Craig Warmington (Rhea) Ottawa, ON and Michael Warmington (Helen) Vancouver, BC. Cherished Grandfather of Nicole Vallee (Matthew), Tyson, Jessie, Liam, Eric and Calvin. Great Grandfather to Olivia. David was born in Toronto, ON and was one of five children born to Arthur and Lillian Warmington (nee Chornuik). David is pre-deceased by two siblings; Mrytle Gleadhill, Toronto and Betty Horton, California and leaves behind two siblings, Joyce Galipeau, Burlington and Robert Warmington (Eunice) Toronto. David was the founder of (1998) Gloucester 98s Senior Hockey team. He was also a member and volunteer for many years with Hylands Golf Club. As well, he was a member of the Orleans Legion 632 and a member of NDHQ CPOs mess. In addition, David caught a world record Blackfin Tuna in 1969 weighing 15lb 14oz. The fish was donated to CFB Kingston, E Squadron and hangs in the Bermuda Room. David will be deeply missed by his many friends an colleagues. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Toronto General Hospital Transplant Campaign would be appreciated.
