In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
COLLIN, Robert Joseph - Passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus, under the loving care and watchful eye of the exceptional staff on 6 west. Much loved husband for 60 years of Pat, loving father of Barbara (Steve) and grandfather of Peter. He also leaves a sister-in-law, Sr. Barbara of Liguori Mo., two brothers-in-law John Samuel and Garth Rousel both of Toronto. He was predeceased by his son Robert in 2005. Bob was an avid skier, fisherman and golfer. He was a long time member and instructor at Camp Fortune and a past member of Carleton Golf Club in Ottawa and IMG academies in Bradenton Florida. A memorial Service will be in the Chapel of McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home 1411 Hunt Club Rd. on Saturday August 11 at 11a.m. with a reception to follow. He loved life, he lived it to the fullest and he fought till the end. He will be missed. In memoriam donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
