WALTERS, Brynmor - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Brynmor Walters at Pinecrest Nursing Home on July 26, 2020 at the age of 94. Born in the Rondda Valley, Wales to John and Elizabeth Walters. He was the sixth of eight children. His family immigrated to Canada when we was a young boy and they settled in Emo, Ontario. At the early age of sixteen he enlisted into the Canadian Navy, during WWII. He was stationed through-out England and Europe. After the war, he was employed with the Department of Highways in Emo. This is where he met the love of his life, Mary Trelford, who was a nurse at the Emo Hospital. Early in their marriage, they transferred to Kenora, Ontario where they raised their four children. They were happily married for 67 years. Left to mourn his loss are his children; Murray (Teresa) Walters, Susan (Daryl) Pearson, Sandy Ratcliffe; his sister, Betty Ritacco; son-in-law, Larry Powell; grandchildren, Chris Powell (Sarah), Michael Powell (Karleigh), Jonathan Walters, Jordan Walters, Lori-Ann ( Cameron) Hagen, Mitchell Pearson, Amanda Ratcliffe and Matthew Ratcliffe; and great grandchildren, Holden, Bennet and Bryn Powell, Halle and Hunter Hagen and Jaxon and Rowen Cuthbert; he will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He leaves this world to join his wife Mary who passed away in 2019 and daughter Jan Powell who passed away in 2016. The family would like to thank, Gary Hamilton, Phil Martin and Kim Tintinelli who volunteered countless hours with our dad. We appreciated the care and compassion given by the staff at Pinecrest (Unit Four), the Activation Department staff, Kandus Williams, Club Dayaway, Jan Robertson and staff at Home Support Services. A private family service will be held in his memory. "You brought joy, happiness and laughter to all who met you, you will be sorely missed by everyone."
