Son of James Henry and Mary Catherine (Boutilier) Peach. James served in the Canadian Navy during the Second World War from 1942 to 1946 and was stationed in Halifax.
Five of seven Peach brothers served in the RCN and RCNVR during the Second World War. They are: Arthur Ernest Peach; Harvey Alton Peach; Howard Louis Peach; James Stuart Peach; and, Robert Avery Peach.
