BRYSON, Weldon Parker - 89, Dartmouth, died October 13, 1996, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late Alex and Rachael Amelia (Tait) Bryson. He was a veteran of the Second World War, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. He was later employed with NAD retiring in 1969. Surviving are daughters, Helen Rogerson, Bernice Dooks, Frances Warner, Elinor Willett; sons, Bill, Sandy, all of Dartmouth; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Helen Foston. Graveside service 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens, Rev. David Turner officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements entrusted to A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Dartmouth.
